Since my husband has Hilton Honors Gold status thanks to his American Express Hilton Surpass card, we were informed at check-in that we would have access to the Executive Lounge for drinks, hors d’oeuvres and breakfast. The Executive Lounge at the Hilton Anatole We still had a lot of floor space.įrom our window, we could see the outdoor sculpture garden and the JadeWaters pool area: ![]() Since my kids hate to share beds, my daughter slept on the sofa and my oldest slept on an inflatable mattress we brought from home. The room had a small hallway with a closet and refrigerator, a sitting area with a desk, chair and sofa and two beds. Our room was located in the tower, and it was plenty large enough for my family. We had booked a deluxe corner room for 42,000 Hilton Honors points. I would describe the vibe as grand and elegant with an Asian flare. The tower and atrium areas had many interesting and fun backdrops for photo ops. on a Saturday afternoon to a tastefully decorated lobby that was deserted. In 1995, Wyndham took over managing the hotel, and it became the Hilton Anatole in 2005. In 1984, the hotel served as the Reagan-Bush headquarters for the Republican National Convention in Dallas. A few years later, the hotel built a large tower expansion with more rooms and amenities, bringing the total number of rooms to over 1600. It opened in 1979 with 1000 rooms as the Loews Anatole. The Hilton Anatole has an interesting history. It’s quite a large hotel complex with a few atriums and a large tower sitting on 45 acres. The Hilton Anatole is located just north of Downtown Dallas. ![]() I had been wanting to visit this hotel for a while since it has special family activities in both the summer and winter. Last weekend, my family had a winter staycation at the Hilton Anatole. ![]()
